The River Thames is about 300 metres from our house and flows through the nearby meadow. South West England, England - Hi, I'm Carol, I live with my partner Brian who is also an English treacher.. We live in the Southwest of England in a village called Street. It is very near Glastonbury and Wells. Bath, Bristol and Stonehenge are about an hour away.it is possible to go to London for the day. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside for good walks. Our house is large and very comfortable with a garden. We have no pets. Brian and I both love cooking, so you will have good food.

River Stour and a Nature Reserve run behind the house where we frequently go walking. There is also a large park and tennis court only 2 minutes from the house where we can play all types of sports and relax. All the neighbours in our area are very friendly and are used to seeing foreign students stay with us. The house is also very close to Castle Point shopping Centre and 5 miles from town.
