Street is a small town in Somerset. It is situated on the beautiful Somerset Levels. The countryside is really beautiful and there are many interesting walks.
We are 5 minutes from Glastonbury, home of the famous legends of King Arthur. The Tor, a big hill has amazing views for miles around.
Glastonbury is a very spiritual place with an alternative approach to life.
Wells, the smallest city in England, has a beautiful Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. There is a farmers market twice a week. It is 15 minutes away by car.
The beautiful City of Bath and the bustling City of Bristol are about an hour away. Often I take students to Stonehenge as it is one of our national treasures.
There is a daily coach to London from Street and it is possible to visit for the day.
We have lots of local crafts, for example the village of Cheddar, where our famous cheese comes from, also produces cider from all the apples that grow in Somerset.
