The Institute
Our school is located in the neighborhood of Providencia, one of the best in Santiago.
It is the ideal location for your Spanish immersion, close to many restaurants, bars, cafes, attractive parks, museums, cinemas and shops. Providencia is an upper-middle class neighborhood and is safe at all hours.
Our school is a large, comfortable, colonial-style buiding with a spacious patio. We have 15 classrooms and several common areas with free Internet access where our students can enjoy breaks.

We give out certificates and diplomas to our students. We also offer DELE preparation and test-taking in certain school locations.

Teaching Materials
We have designed our own curriculum materials based on the recommendations of El Instituto Cervantes. All of our school locations use the same curriculum to make travel amongst them seamless.
Methodology
Our professors use a variety of teaching methods to best teach each and every student. We at ECELA realize that no two people learn in the same way, so lessons and teaching strategies are varied to teach all Spanish learners.
Social and Cultural Activities
Our staff takes care of activity planning for you! Each day an activity is offered to all students, sometimes free of charge and sometimes for a nominal fee. There is an activity for all types of students, from discussion groups to horseback tours.
Accommodation
We have both a homestay program and a shared apartment program for our students.
Excursions and Visits
A historically rich and modern city with plenty of things to explore. Specific highlights include: rafting, trekking and vineyard tours. Overnight weekend excursions include trips to the nearby Andes mountain range and visits to surrounding cities such as the resort community of Viña del Mar, the port town of Valparaiso (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) or the famous Isla Negra.
