Teaching Qualifications and Experience
I studied English Philology at Zaragoza University, and some courses on German, French and Italian, so I understand what learning a foreign language means.
I started my career as a teacher for 3 years, and then, I decided to get experience in export-import enterprises, so I got a real feedback to use it at teaching languages for business.
I worked at a school of Spanish for foreigners, accredited by Instituto Cervantes, for two years, not only teaching and preparing cultural programmes for students at the school, but also hosting them at home.
Currently, I am a freelance languages teacher.
Hobbies and Interests
I love reading and learning about languages, cultures and people in the world. I have a garden at the back of the house, and I like growing my vegetables, and flowers. I do also love going out for a walk, to enjoy nature, and of course, meeting friends for a good chat.
Accommodation
This is a very sunny and bright room at the front of the house. There's a single bed, some shelves, a wardrobe and a desk. We have wi-fi connection all around the house. Sheets, quilt and towels will be provided.
We want you feel at home.
Excursions and Local Attractions
I organize visits to Zaragoza, Aragon's Capital City, and other major towns such Huesca, the door to the Pyrenees or Teruel, the Love Capital.
And of course, I will show you Los Monegros, Europe's alive desert. The Desert of Monegros is a charming area and a unique one to this part of the world, that will captivate you. We can visit its rich cultural heritage such as the Monastery of Sijena or the birthplace of Miguel Servet, The Monastery of Our Lady of Fountains, an excellent example of the architecture of a Carthusian monastery, and also enjoy of its landscape, visiting the Orwell Route, with war trenches and military constructions at the foothills which will bring you back to the Spanish Civil War, or one of the largest lagoons in Spain, which offers the best conditions for observing waterfowl in Aragon.
