Teaching Qualifications and Experience
I studied Journalism, but later I became a vocational teacher. I am postgraduated in Distance Educ., Teaching Online and in eLearning Projects. I got a Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language by Universidad de Alcalá de Henares and another one in English Linguistics as a Second Language by Complutense U. I am a Certified Corrector of DELE exams by Salamanca University.
I have been teaching Spanish and Spanish for Healthcare Professionals online at the University of New York since 2006 till nowadays. Before I was teaching English in my own private school in Madrid from 1986 to 2007
Hobbies and Interests
I like reading, writing, working in my ecological vegetable graden and horchard, walking around, taking photos, going to museums, dancing, cooking, swimming and surfing the Internet.
My interests are: literatura, art, cinema, theatre, zarzuela and opera. I like watching a bit of TV on a big screen
Accommodation
A big room (20m square metres) next to the bathroom, with a bed that 135cms wide, a double door wardrobe, a desk, a high bookself, 2 night tables, a dobled glass panelled window that looks to the valley/ to the vegetable garden. The student can choose between 2 rooms.
Excursions and Local Attractions
Our house is at an hour from Madrid and at about 1 hour from Toledo.
Excursions that students can choose: Toledo, Madrid, Aranjuez, Avila, La Granja, Alcalá de Henares, El Escorial...And other places around the student would like to visit.
Local attractions: swmming in a natural pool, riding on a horse, latino/ flamenco clases, aerobic, sevillanas, crafts, gymnastics, etc.
