Teaching Qualifications and Experience
I have been working in the Italian public schools as teacher of German and English for 15 years. I also work as a teacher of Italian as a second language. In the past I was an interpreter/translator but then I decided to become a teacher because I did not like being al the time alone in an office. I felt the nees to have contacts with people and now I don't regret that choice. I love my students and I have much fun with them
Hobbies and Interests
I love cooking, watching netflix on the sofa, riding my bike and have some excursions, playing cards with my kids, doing exercise to keep fit and of course travelling!
Accommodation
The student's bedroom has a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a window. The student can use a private bathroom and all common rooms, including garden.
In some periods of the year, when it's not rented, I also offer a private room with private entrance and ensuite bathroom.
Excursions and Local Attractions
Viareggio is a seaside resort on the northern coast of Tuscany.
It has a railway station and a well connected road network (highway). It is famous for its beaches and for its carnival.
It takes about:
20 minutes to reach Pisa or Lucca;
1 hour to Florence
1,30 hour to reach San Gimignano, Volterra;
2 hours to reach Siena or Arezzo;
1,30 hour to reach Cinque Terre;
If you’re flying to Viareggio the best airports are Pisa(easiest), Genoa or Florence.
