Joe has a BSc Degree in Physics from Imperial College, London and is a Member of the Institute of Physics. He has over 30 years experience of working for private industry and for the State.
As a senior manager in a government department regulating national health and safety, his responsibilities included drafting and enforcing safety requirements, producing and agreeing documentation, making presentations, and attending and chairing meetings with industry and government departments. He represented the UK in Working Group meetings with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development

Excursions and Local Attractions
Rainford, a typical English village, is surrounded by farmland with many pleasant walks in the area. It is ideally located for excursions to places of interest, for example,the cities of Liverpool and Chester, the smaller market towns of Ormskirk and St Helens, the Lancashire coast, the seaside resort of Southport, and the many museums, art galleries, gardens and National Trust historic houses in the area.
For students on our "English on Holiday" course excursions are included in the cost of the course.
