After 25 years in International business I started my ‘new career’ in 2002 teaching Management Techniques. With my coaching diploma I started to give ‘personal business coaching’ to 300 international students at Stockholm Business School.
Since 2011 I have taught Business English on a one to one basis at a Language School in Nice, France and privately at home.

Hobbies and Interests

My wife & I have an active outdoor life. We walk & cycle along the coast plus regular visits to the local gym. Spending time in the garden to grow vegetables, fruit & herbs is important for us. I love cooking different types of fresh food and vegetarian alternatives are always available.

Accommodation

This newly built double bedroom with double bed has a large ‘walk-in’ wardrobe & storage cupboard. It overlooks the garden and is quiet. It is equipped with bed, desk, TV & chair. For guest use only there is a lounge with armchairs, TV etc and a modern large bathroom. Wifi in house & garden.

Excursions and Local Attractions

The local coast is famous for sailing, kite-surfing and over 800 years of Naval History. Just across the Solent by ferry is the Isle of Wight with lots to see including Queen Victoria’s Osborne House & Cowes, home of the world famous sailing regatta.
Portsmouth is a top waterfront destination with history, shopping and entertainment for all ages and tastes. The Historic Harbour is home to many Naval museums plus historic ships such as Lord Nelsons HMS Victory and Henry VIII’s Mary Rose. In the midst of this heritage are the modernised Gunwharf Quays (only 15 minutes from us) with a wide selection of waterfront shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, casino, cinemas, bowling and the landmark Spinnaker Tower
While London is only 90 minutes away by train there is much to experience closer. Winchester the ancient royal capital gives that taste of ‘olde england’ while Stonehenge is even older. The coast from Bournemouth and the New Forest to Brighton is easily accessible by road or train.
