Hobbies and Interests

Walking and hiking, sailing, canals and narrow boats, cooking, singing and music. I sing in a local gospel choir and a rock band.

Accommodation

A double aspect recently refurbished and decorated room, with view over garden. Large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Double bed. Next to family bathroom.

Excursions and Local Attractions

Portsmouth, with it's historic dockyard and maritime museum is 45 mins away. The pretty town of Chichester, and the market towns of Petersfield and Winchester are less than an hour away.
The busy city of Guildford is 18 km away with theatres, cinemas, a lively music scene and a large shopping centre
Central London is less than an hour by train from the nearby mainline station.
Haslemere is surrounded by National Trust land, and on the edge of the South Sowns National Park.
Haslemere itself is a small, historic town with many interesting buildings and small indepedent shops, a fascinating museum and varied cultural activities.
