Nairn is famous for two championship golf courses and its position as a top Highland golfing centre has been enhanced with the Scottish Open coming to the area every July.
Apart from golf, Nairn is an excellent base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. Whilst enjoying a stay in Nairn we might also visit Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Inverness or Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness.
Our cottage is right on the links beside the sea and you might see the famous Moray Firth dolphins. It is a great spot for a stroll along the beach or around the quaint houses of the fishertown. Nairn is also a great base for walking or cycling around Nairnshire. Further East in Moray you will find the Speyside whisky trail which is right on our doorstep, or visit the towns of Forres and Elgin.
The Nairn Highland games takes place in late August every year and is a great event to wat
