Teaching Qualifications and Experience
I gained the CELTA certificate in early 2013 and have been hosting English language students on a homestay basis for the last 2 seasons. I have taught from beginner through to advanced level in general and business English. I have hosted students from 14 to 64 years of age, some being male and some being female. I have a PVG Disclosure certificate. The courses provided are catered to the particular needs of the student and after discussion with him/her.
I have 2 University degrees, LLB and LLM, and was previously a practising solicitor for many years.
Hobbies and Interests
I am a member of an excellent local golf club where students are welcome to join me for a round of golf or walk. I am also a keen hill walker and there are many beautiful walks both locally and further afield. I ski during the winter. I enjoy going to the cinema and theatre. I read when I have time.
