Provide private lessons and Business ESL in corporate settings. I also teach basic French and can assist with prep for exams.
I have extensive experience teaching youth, training adults and facilitating workshops. For my TESOL coursework in France, I taught English to French students in a high school setting and gave private lessons to a French adult learner. I have a good understanding of the many feelings that learning a second language brings, as I am a second language learner as well.
Hobbies and Interests
Active in volunteer work with youth:
Sierra Club Inner City Outings, Make a Wish Foundation. Developed and currently coordinate a mentoring program for young mothers. Enjoy use of the American River bike trail almost daily - hiking, biking and kayaking. French language/culture, playing Petanque.
