-TESL certification.
-TOEFL prep certification
- 12 years experience teaching ESOL students.
Is currently teaching international students at an accredited international language school.
Suzanne has:
- Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
- Taught ESOL to international students in an accredited English language school for 7 years in USA and to business professionals for 3 years in Italy.
- Studied TESOL with the Royal Society of Arts.
Currently owns and operates a public relations and marketing agency.
Hobbies and Interests
We love sightseeing day trips and international travel, especially when we can hike, bike, and paddle. We are Rouxbe Cooking School trained and enjoy creating memorable meals and entertaining our guests. We love meeting people from other places and we are particularly fond of French culture.
Accommodation
Spacious, well lit, clean and comfortable with private bath, fully appointed with closet, nightstands and bureau. Large windows provide natural light. Task lighting plus ambient overhead lighting with ceiling fan. Two twin beds can be arranged to make a full bed.

Beaches, beaches, and more beaches, especially Siesta Beach, rated number 1 in Florida! Lots of other interesting things to do for outdoor adventurer types: Hike, bike or paddle at Myakka River State Park and Oscar Scherer State Park while watching wildlife, or watch the birds at the Celery Fields, an international birding hotspot. For less adventurous types, Ringling Museum and Ca d' Zan, Marietta Museum of Art and Whimsy, Sarasota Classic Car Museum, Selby Botanical Gardens, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, Save Our Seabirds wildlife conservation center, Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary. Love theater? Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Sarasota Opera, Sarasota Ballet and Sarasota Orchestra, and for more intimate venues, Florida Studio Theater and West Coast Black Theater Troupe. Of course, lots of restaurants, from haute cuisine to funky Old Florida eateries.
