Christchurch is home to the spectacular port hills and is situated on the east coast. The scenery and beaches are spectacular.
I love taking people to Hanmer Springs nearby, and also the French settlement of Akaroa. You will love it here.
From Christchurch you can enjoy all watersports, skiing, hiking, cycling and all sorts of other activites.
We live one block from the beach and the walks along the dunes or the beach are really stunning. We wouldn't live anywhere else. I used to live in Auckland but Christchurch is a lot more peaceful but still full of stunning sights and activites.
