Teaching Qualifications and Experience
I have a Certificate in English language teaching to adults (CELTA)
I worked in Alicante Spain between 2009 and November 2016 teaching hundreds of students at prestigious language schools as well as teaching Business and specialist English in London during the summer months. My fun-based approach to teaching has resulted in the loyalty of students for many years. Apart from general and business English, I teach specialist English in subjects ranging from medical and legal to football coaching. I teach those all important Cambridge exams at B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels as well as IELTS and TOEFL
Hobbies and Interests
I am interested in all spòrts especially football, Valencia is my team.
I run every day through the delightful Cork countyryside. My wife is an avid reader, she loves the theatre and the cinema, music and the arts and is a fabulous cook.
Accommodation
The student´s room is a self-contained studio consisting of a double bed, sofa bed, three armchairs, wardrobe, televison, table and chairs for study purposes and a private bath/shower room and finally an outside patio handy if the student is a smoker.
Excursions and Local Attractions
Cobh is a historic town famous for the Titanic, Lucitania and with fantastic sea/bay/country excursions within short walking distance.
20 minutes from Cork the second city of Ireland.
