Lismore, Ireland: We are an English family living in beautiful rural West Waterford. We love to share and explore this fantastic area with our guests and like to take them hill walking or horse riding if they are interested.

We have hosted foreign language students for the last 3 years and love sharing our home, animals and beautiful surroundings with them whilst they improve their language skills.

 

Hobbies and Interests

We live in rural Ireland and love the outdoors and the beauty of the countryside. We enjoy horse riding and hill walking and love to share these activities with our guests.

 

Accommodation

The students bedroom is a comfortable warm room with plenty of storage space.

If our sons are not home they have a private bathroom but this cannot be guaranteed.

Excursions and Local Attractions

Local attractions include the heritage town of Lismore with its beautiful castle, the seaside towns of Youghal and Dungarvan and the coastline, scenic drives over the Knockmealdown mountains, Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel.
Excursions can be shaped totally to the guests' requirements.
Hill walking, horse riding and fishing can all be arranged as can almost any activity that is requested before the visit.
