20 years experience teaching ESL, in Australia & Timor Leste for the UN . I have delivered Government funded programs & private tuition.
Hobbies and Interests
As well as my passion for teaching, I love to draw and paint. I am also into creative writing. I practice yoga daily, and walk the beachfront walking pathway every morning at sunrise. I love to sail, surf, bushwalk & go horseriding. Attend art gallery exhibitions, music, theatre, opera & ballet.
Accommodation
Their are two private bedrooms available to students: comfortable single & king single beds, bedside table, lamp, clock & radio, wardrobe, study desk, desk lamp &, chairs. One bedroom has air-conditioning & a ceiling fan, the other a ceiling fan. Private bathroom with (bath, shower, & toilet).
Excursions and Local Attractions
World famous surf beaches and surf schools, Currumbin Surf Museum, international sporting events, including the Quicksilver Pro Surfing Championships. The Gold Coast is home to the Commonwealth Games 2018. South Stradbroke Island, the Gold Coast Hinterland with subtropical rainforests, World Heritage National Parks listed by (UNESCO) with crystal waterfalls cascading into rock pools, abundant native wildlife and official bushwalking tracks. The quaint village of Mount Tamborine is close by with ornate cafe's, boutique winery, art galleries and quaint antique and homeware stores. See Australian native wildlife at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary & Fleay's Wildlife Park where you can cuddle a koala bear, feed the kangaroos and native birds. Major themed attractions include: Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World, WhiteWater World, Wet'n 'Wild, Paradise Country and the Australian Outback Spectacular. Whale watching (seasonal). Horseriding, Local Farmer's Markets and major retail outlets.
