Teaching Qualifications and Experience
I have a Masters Degree with First Class Honours, in Applied Linguistics, specialising in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) - from the University of Auckland .
I have been teaching English at a local University - Griffith University - for 6 years, and have taught English in many situations to adults with many different purposes.
I also have qualifications and experience as a Homoeopath and Naturopath, Financial Planner, Travel and Tourism Business owner and manager, Sales manager, Educational Consultant and Teacher.
Hobbies and Interests
I love languages. I love learning. I am a keen traveller, writer, conservationist, and reader.
I am a New Zealander who has been based in Australia for about 16 years - and my children, who are all adults now, are spread around the world. I am studying for a PhD.
I have two small dogs.
Accommodation
There are two private bedrooms available.
The bedrooms are approximately 2.5 meters by 4.20 meters, each with a comfortable double bed, bedside table and lamp, a desk and chair, a built in wardrobe, carpet, a window onto a private garden with venetian blinds, and a remote controlled ceiling fan.
