The American Language School
Centrally located in the financial district, near to several famous art museums, including the Museum of Modern Art. Some of the world's best shopping is only 4 blocks away at Union Square. The Institute is on all the major bus and subway lines including MUNI, BART and Golden Gate Transit. The Ferry Building, with ferryboat access to Sausalito and Oakland, is only a ten-minute walk from the Institute.
The English Language Programmes
Our classes (maximum 10 students) take place in the mornings (09h00 - 13h00) and emphasise communication skills and the natural use of English in an everyday setting: discussion, listening, comprehension, grammar, idiomatic expression and role-playing as well as reading and writing. We offer 10 levels from beginner to high-advanced as well as preparing students for the TOEFL (6 weeks) and Cambridge Examinations (12 weeks).

Combination Programme (San Diego and San Francisco)
Learn to speak fluent English on our Combination Programme. Students study both at the English language school in San Francisco USA and at the English language school in San Diego. Thus, students experience two of California's most beautiful and unique cities while following the same curriculum and course materials.
San Francisco's climate allows for wonderful activities, sports and weekend trips: hiking and mountain biking opportunities are just across the Golden Gate bridge. Lake Tahoe's resorts (great skiing and casinos), Yosemite National Park and beautiful Carmel are just a drive away and the Napa Valley wine country is only one hour to the north of the city.
Internships
Internships are available in San Diego and San Francisco, California. The Volunteer English Program provides you with the opportunity to practice what you have learned at your language school in the USA and improve your English proficiency in a professional business setting. This is also a wonderful opportunity for you to meet American colleagues with the same professional interests and to establish international contacts in your profession. Your personal Internship Advisor will design an Internship based upon your education and interests.
