Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area Brasília is the capital of Brazil. Completed in 1960, it is renowned for its modern architectural design and abundant green areas. Located in the central west; Brasília is a melting pot of Brazil´s five cultural regions. This beautiful city is also host to the embassies of many foreign countries. There is much to see and do in Brasília: museums, theaters, restaurants, night clubs, natural water springs park, boat rides, water sports on the manmade 49 km long lake. Nearby, one finds Farm Hotels with ecotourism, horseback rides, waterfalls, and outdoor music and dancing. Within about 100km are: Alto Paraíso, Pirenópolis and Corumba de Goiás, esoterics cities for those in search of alternative experiences. The tutor´s house is near the lake in a quiet neighborhood. The suite could accommodate two students if they don´t mind a trundle bed. There is a veranda with barbeque and a big yard to receive family and friends. In addition, students can accompany the tutor for get-togethers at the French and American clubs. Because of the diversity here, students in Brasilia get a good sense of all Brazil.
