Please note that programme fees do not include the student’s travel or other expenses to or from the place where the programme takes place.
Enrolment & Payment of Fees
The Eurolingua Institute Ltd will process an enrolment upon receipt of a correctly completed Enrolment Form for each student/client to be enrolled, and the non-refundable deposit for each student. Deposits will be deducted from the total programme fees. Eurolingua Institute Ltd will send a Confirmed Student Placement showing full course and accommodation information, total programme fees payable, the balance due and due date.
The balance of all programme fees must be received in full by the Eurolingua Institute Ltd at least 5 weeks prior to the programme start date. Where a visa is required see notes under Visa below.
For enrolments made less than 4 weeks prior to the programme start date, programme fees must be received in full by the Eurolingua Institute Ltd at the time of enrolment.
Without exception, all programme fees must have been received in full by the Eurolingua Institute Ltd prior to admission to the programme. Please note that we accept payment by cheques in EURO drawn on European bank; cheques in STERLING drawn on a UK bank; bank transfer (bank details are given on the Confirmed Student Placement document), Bank transfer charges, or other charges incurred for the payment of programme fees, are strictly for the account of the student/client; PayPal (please ask for the link to make your payment)

Accommodation
Where requested by the student, and where not already included in the programme, the Eurolingua Institute Ltd will arrange, on behalf of and for the student, separate host family or other accommodation for which an Accommodation Service Fee will be made. Students may be required to pay their host family or other accommodation on arrival and in local currency.
Visas
Where a visa is required the Eurolingua Institute Ltd reserves the right to make a charge for processing of visa applications, including the costs of despatching any documents required. Where a visa is required students have to follow the procedures required by the destination country and may need to transfer the outstanding balance of all fees due, before the appropriate visa application documents, can be issued. The Eurolingua Institute Ltd will provide all information and documentation required for visa application but cannot be held responsible for visas not being granted. If a visa is denied, all programme fees, less non-refundable deposits and visa application fees, will be returned to the student on return of all original visa application documentation and the original, refusal document from the appropriate authority. Visa refusal must be notified by registered post or email within 3 days of refusal.
Transfers
Unless expressly included in the programme fee, the Eurolingua Institute Ltd reserves the right to make a charge for meeting a student/client on arrival at an airport, railway station, ferry port or similar and for returning the student/client to an airport, railway station, ferry port or similar, on departure.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Eurolingua Institute Ltd office by registered mail or by email (ask for a read receipt). The date of cancellation is the date of receipt of the written notification by the Eurolingua Institute Ltd.
Refunds
The Initial Deposit and, where levied, the Accommodation Service Fee, are non-refundable.
Up to 4 weeks before the start date:
All programme fees will be refunded, less the non-refundable Initial Deposit and, where levied, the Accommodation Service Fee plus any costs and expenses incurred in processing documents for the enrolment.
Up to two weeks before the start date:
Fifty percent (50%) of the programme fees will be refunded, less the non-refundable Initial Deposit and, where levied, the Accommodation Service Fee plus any costs and expenses incurred in processing documents for the enrolment.
Less than two weeks before the start date: No refund will be made.
A programme started is deemed to be completed and no refund or credit can be given for unattended lessons, weeks or courses, in whole or in part.
The information contained in the Confirmed Student Placement Form forms the basis of the contract between the Eurolingua Institute Ltd and the client/student.
Only complaints/problems communicated by email to, and acknowledged by, the Eurolingua Institute office during the programme can be dealt with.
Rescheduled Programme
Wherever possible, the Eurolingua Institute Ltd will endeavour to re-schedule the start date of the student’s programme to avoid the need for cancellation. In these circumstances, alternative locations may be offered to the student. The Eurolingua Institute SA will be as flexible as possible with changes and amendments but reserve the right to make supplementary charges to cover costs incurred.
Insurance
Neither the Eurolingua Institute Ltd, its staff, tutors, agents or host families are responsible for any loss or injury caused during any programme undertaken. The student/client is solely responsible for his or her own health, accident, liability, travel, cancellation and personal insurance. Student/clients are advised to take out all appropriate travel, medical and cancellation insurance in their country of origin before departure.
Obligations of the Student/Client
It is the obligation of the student/client to ensure that he or she is in possession of the correct legal and medical documentation to enter and reside in the country where the programme is taking place for the duration of the programme undertaken.
The student/client is required to observe all programme regulations and the house rules required by host families.
Legal Domicile
The law of Great Britain shall govern any contract between the Eurolingua Institute Ltd and a student/client.
